~ On Wrting ~

"If people merely write books so they can make money and there's no passion in the words, few will buy the book. Words MUST take the reader SOMEWHERE...either to solve a "problem" or to educate or to entertain. If there is no reason in something, there is no purpose. To do without reason, is to be ignorant.
The more you can draw the reader into what
is being said, the longer you can hold them.
The idea of ANY good read is to hook the reader (and keep hooking them throughout) Leave them with a cliff hanger of some sort at the end of each section/chapter and tie it all together at the end.
Interesting (hold their attention) public speakers make the best writers. We're merely story tellers...whether it's a history or science lesson or a mystery thriller, it's all about sustaining interest."
